JUMP legal document — Billing & Refunds Version: 2027-01-01 Effective: January 1, 2027 Review status: draft Source: https://jumpco.co/legal/billing/ Archived: 2026-09-10T00:45:28.202Z SHA-256 (body below, excluding this header): 6954953a941213cf0c1d6c248cac17991a901b721aff92b1cd1b980fa77ffd27 **Effective January 1, 2027** · Version `2027-01-01` · All versions (/legal/versions/) **Draft — pending legal review.** This document is a working draft provided for transparency and is not yet final. Version `2026-08-13` applies until January 1, 2027. If you accepted before that date, that is the version recorded on your account. Every published version is listed on all versions (/legal/versions/). This policy explains how and when JUMP charges employers, and how cancellations and refunds work. It applies to employer accounts operated through JumpCo LLC. Workers are never charged. ## What you’re charged for Employers are charged a fee **per worker accepted** for a shift — not for posting a shift, and not per applicant. All charges are in **US dollars (USD)**. The applicable per-accept rate is provided to you when you’re set up for access and shown before you confirm a worker. ## When you’re charged The charge is triggered when you accept a worker for a shift. Payment is processed at that time through Stripe (https://stripe.com) using the payment method on file for your account. ## Cancellations **Before you accept anyone, cancelling is free.** The fee is tied to accepting a worker, so cancelling an _open_ shift — one nobody has been accepted for — costs nothing. Once you have accepted a worker, when you cancel decides what happens: - **More than 24 hours before the shift starts** — cancel in the app. Every accepted worker’s accept fee is refunded in full to the original payment method. The refund is issued at the moment you cancel; occasionally it needs a manual step from us and follows shortly after. It shows as a **Refunded** line in your spend report once our payment processor confirms it. The money goes back to the card it came from, and your bank decides how soon it appears on your statement. - **Inside 24 hours of the start time** — the shift is committed and cannot be cancelled in the app. That is a policy, not a limitation we work around: by that point the worker has turned down other work to hold your shift, and they will still arrive. Anything you owe that worker is between you and them, as described in our Terms of Service (/legal/terms). - **If a worker does not show up** — you should not pay for a worker you did not get. Email support@jumpco.co (mailto:support@jumpco.co) with the shift details and we will review it and refund the accept fee where the worker did not attend. Cancelling a shift a worker has accepted does not by itself settle anything you may owe that worker directly — that is between you and the worker, as described in our Terms of Service (/legal/terms). **[For counsel: confirm before launch.]** The commercial position above — a full refund before the 24-hour mark, no cancellation and no refund inside it — is a proposal, not a settled one. It is written concretely so there is something to react to. The trade-off is between protecting a worker who has held time and protecting an employer from a genuine change of plan; moving the boundary moves that balance. ## Refunds If you are charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a worker accepted due to a clear platform fault — email support@jumpco.co (mailto:support@jumpco.co) with your company name and the shift in question. We will review it and refund where appropriate. Refunds always go back to the original payment method; we cannot send them anywhere else. ## Disputes & chargebacks If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly by email. You can reach billing support at support@jumpco.co (mailto:support@jumpco.co). ## No shipping JUMP is a digital staffing service. There are no physical goods shipped, so no shipping or delivery policy applies. ## Contact JumpCo LLC 160 Alewife Brook Pkwy #1486, Cambridge, MA 02138 support@jumpco.co (mailto:support@jumpco.co)
