Open-source & third-party notices

Last updated September 11, 2026. JumpCo LLC builds JUMP on open-source software. Most of it is permissive (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, ISC) and carries no obligation beyond a notice; a few components require attribution or a notice to travel with each copy, and those are listed here. A full software bill of materials is generated on every build.

Fonts — SIL Open Font License 1.1

The JUMP app and this site use two typefaces under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1 (openfontlicense.org):

• Poppins — Copyright 2020 The Poppins Project Authors, with Reserved Font Name “Poppins”.
• Playfair Display — Copyright 2017 The Playfair Display Project Authors, with Reserved Font Name “Playfair Display”.

ZIP-code location data — CC BY 4.0

JUMP’s distance matching uses United States ZIP-code centroid data from SimpleMaps, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

Native image codecs — BSD-2-Clause and ISC

The mobile app includes image codecs (dav1d, libavif, libwebp under BSD-2-Clause) and icon assets under the ISC license, delivered through the platform build. Their full notices are reproduced in the app’s in-product open-source notices and in the build’s bill of materials.

Everything else

The remaining dependencies are permissive and carry no distribution obligation beyond what the bill of materials records. JUMP ships no copyleft (GPL/AGPL) or source-available code; an automated license check on every build keeps that true.
