Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft provided for transparency and is not yet final. Last updated August 12, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how JumpCo LLC (“JUMP,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website, mobile apps, and services (the “Services”). JUMP operates in the United States.

Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, phone number, company, and role.
  • Worker profile information — work history, skills, categories, availability, ratings, and (with your permission) approximate location used for shift matching.
  • Shift and transaction information — shifts posted or accepted, hours worked, and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by JUMP.
  • Device and usage information — app and site interactions, device identifiers, and log data, used to operate and improve the Services.

How we use information

  • To match workers to shifts and operate the marketplace.
  • To send real-time notifications about shifts, applications, and confirmations.
  • To process payments to employers through our payment processor.
  • To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share limited information between the two sides of a shift (for example, an employer sees the profile of a worker who applies). We share information with service providers who help us run the Services — including Stripe for payments and cloud infrastructure providers for hosting — under contracts that limit their use of it. We do not sell personal information.

Location data

Shift matching uses approximate location. You can control location sharing through your device settings; disabling it may limit shift matching.

Your choices & rights

You can access or update your account information in the app, opt out of non-essential notifications, and request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. We protect information as described on our security page.

Children

The Services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children.

Changes & contact

We’ll update this policy as the Services evolve and note the date above. Questions about privacy? Email support@jumpco.co or write to JumpCo LLC, 10 Main St, Boston, MA.
